An infrared sensor at the threshold senses when a cat approaches; an infrared sensor on the door stops the drum as soon as a cat steps in; a temperature sensor inside the chamber reads whether a cat has entered, for a more accurate call; and a rear motion sensor works with the anti-pinch protection to keep the cat safe.
